Our services in the community will be:

Carols in the Park
Thursday 8th December 6pm Moore Avenue Park – with Salvation Army band & children from local schools, followed by soup and a roll.

Carols in the Library
Thursday 15th December 10.30am in West Howe Library

Our services at St Philip’s will be:

Carols by Candlelight
Sunday 18th December 6.30pm - traditional carols and a Christingle for the children. Followed by a mince pie and a drink

Midnight Communion
Christmas Eve 11.30pm

Christmas Day
All Age Communion 10.15am

Christmas Lunch
We’re also having a full Christmas lunch starting at about 12.30pm on Christmas Day. And it’s free! If you’d like to come to this please give Rev Dick Saunders a call on 01202 581135 so we know how many to cater for.


Alpha Course

Our next Alpha course exploring the meaning of life and the basics of Christianity is starting soon! All are welcome. It will run for ten Thursday evenings starting on 19th January 2012 at 7pm. We start with a meal, watch a short talk on a dvd and then have an informal discussion of it around the table afterwards. There's no pressure, just a chance to ask some of the big questions of life, to contribute your own views and hear from others. Or just to listen while others discuss! For more details click here.
